Future of Learning Salons
How might we set the table for new conversations about the future of learning with unlikely collaborators and creatives?
How might we create intimate and nourishing spaces for education leaders to consider the role of their school in society?
As a part of Cannon Design's The Third Teacher Plus, we curated salon dinners to foster deep connection and safe spaces to explore questions around the future of learning. These salon dinners played a crucial role in pushing the thinking of our studio, connecting unlikely collaborators, and inspiring our client partners (usually schools on the brink of something) in new ways.
Asking schools, teachers, and education leaders, "If you could invite anyone to dinner..." liberates new conversations about pedagogy and community. Our roles as designers is to set that table, frame meaningful conversations, and craft experiences where people feel known and aspirations are revealed.
